Wow that tree is really isolated. At first glance I thought those were sand dunes surrounding it.  Great capture.

Thanks DAFlys we really are spoiled here just hope it lasts and these special landscapes aren't developed. Feels like the while world is trying to develop where it can

Any patch of land here in the Southeast of the UK gets bought up and built on in the blink of an eye,  its also becoming a trend to buy a house, demolish it and build two on there same plot,  its terrible especially as the roads and other services are not keeping up with it,  and in old towns there's very little way to improve the road networks.

Sorry to hear that. Those old towns in UK are just dripping with character would be a real shame to lose that. I think there are just too many of us now, you try and go anywhere popular and it becomes a fight to get through the crowds. I remember pre-covid being in Paris didn't even think about going up Eifel Tower when we saw the crowds and queues.  That's why I just love these desolate isolated places but sadly they too are under attack, all the more reason to record them while I can I guess.

Splendid capture Bussty.    That must be one robust tree to survive in that landscape.
