I just bought the RS3 and was attempting to set everything up. I'm using a Sony A7S III with a Sony 2.8 12-24 GM lens. It really makes the camera super front heavy. However, the overall weight is only about 4lbs which is 2lbs less than the RS3 is rated for. I can't get it to balance. The plate needs to go back pretty far, but at a certain point it just hits another piece of stabilizer. Not to mention, the quick release switch doesn't set flush when locked, which only make the issue worse. Is my lens making the camera too front heavy, or am I doing something wrong in the balancing set up? Here are photos so you can see what i'm talking about: https://imgur.com/a/iImZvbV
A smaller, lighter lens doesn't seem to give me any trouble and I can balance it just fine.
