Astonishing shot DA.    Only possible with the upward gimbal of the Mini 3 Pro.  Much prefer these puffy white cloud formations over the ominous ones in your other post this AM.

I woke today to howling winds out of the Southeast.  25 mph winds but with gusts up to 45 mph.

Oh yeah.  Seems like Tropical Storm, soon to be Hurricane Ian has taken a like to making landfall somewhere in Florida.  We will have a better idea by early Tuesday morning of a more accurate track.

Did I hear correctly that they have already declared a state of emergency for the storm and NASA have to decide to move the rocket back inside again.

Yeah, the "Gubernator" declared a state of emergency for most parts of Florida and NASA has starting wheeling Artemis back into the hangar.  Florida does take their hurricane warnings seriously.

The really sad part is that 4 more home owner insurance companies recently pulled out of insuring homes in Florida due to making numerous claims that were hurricane related.  I'm sure if Hurricane Ian creates more devastation only the major 2 insurers will be left and the annual premiums will double.  Glad I no longer have to make those large house insurance payments.  Insurance on the boat is high but that is understandable and is a lucrative business so several marina insurance companies compete and it keeps the premiums manageable.
