She was swimming at the time and was just about to get out when she realised it was me coming into land.

Definitely.  I have a really nice Furuno Class A Ais Transponder. Tested it before getting underway and I know it works as have been alerted several time since getting underway.

Yep.  All fitted and working without leaks.   Even managed to paint a wall up stairs too.   Now I’m just wondering about a quick flight as a reward.

I missed the fog this morning as I had to go and take delivery of a radiator at the MIL but on the plus side I did manage to get the shot for the old vs new series.

If that was a heater radiator then that was good timing, especially since your temps have dropped already.

Yes it is.  Custom made in Italy, 3m long and only £3000

Next job is to book a plumber to fit,  it’s at the MILs so I’ve said to SHMBOd that I’m not fitting it.  I would for myself but as I won’t be there if it were to leak she can have a pro do it.

I don't blame you for steering clear on that installation.  Better to have a plumber do it and if it has leaks she can have the plumber come back out and be mad at him and not you.

Exactly.  We’re 40 miles away.  Not a problem if it was mine and I’m home and it leaks but I don’t want to be rushing over there at who knows what time.  And she’s already spending a small fortune for it so another 200 to fit no biggie.

Also gives you peace of mind and no call outs in the middle of the night.

we use a 15mm copper piper for runs into most radiators with a 22mm pipe that runs the main loop that feeds them.

That's quite the setup.  Thanks for the diagram.  Interesting how the pipe narrows at the end of the run.
