Very moody shot DA.  

I saw where the temps in the UK had plummeted over the last few days so you may have jumped right over Autumn.

The local Navy and Coast Guard ships are all getting underway later today due to Hurricane Ian being inbound.  I might just follow them out as they will go out about 40-50 miles off the coast line to avoid the heavy winds and sea pierside.

Jump on this morning for a dawn flight,   walked thorough one field that was full of mist and decided to push on to the usual spot near the castle and there was zero mist. . But I have to admit that after a couple of batteries I was feeling the cold.

11c this morning with a feels like 4c.   I did feel the cold.

We're down to 4 degrees C here.  On Winnats yesterday there was a sprinkling of Hail as we got back in the car to come home.

It was 5c when I left this morning with a feels like 4c but the Skys were clear and now the sun is shinning,   I have a few chores like the months backups and the over racks and then I intend to head out and photograph the sewage works.

Ive been doing some research into which images are selling on the stock sites and sewage farms seem to be popular so I thought as there is one a short walk away (3 miles) I would grab a few shots on the next sunny day.  Also church zenith shots seem to be popular so I will grab one of those on route.

Ive toyed with stock photography for a number of years and I thought I should probably put a bit more effort in as Ive got quite a catalog of stuff that might be saleable.

Im sitting in the conservatory with the doors open and its quite pleasant at the moment,  but its only 10c out there.

thats fair then,   I entered a competition once about boats and the shot that won didnt feature anything boating,  to say I was a bit miffed would be an understatement.

Due to Hurricane Ian's latest track I had to get my mini-yacht underway and I am about 150 NM east of the Florida coastline now.  Will probably go at least another 50-75 NM today.  Nothing but miles of ocean to look at for the next few days. Haven't been this far out on the ocean in a while so I'm just getting my "sea legs" back.  I did see a huge oil tanker pass me heading North early this morning so its not like I'm the only boat on the sea but it does have some solitude out here.

Autopilot does all the work.  I just have to stay on the bridge and keep an eye on the computerized setup.  It's not like the older boats with steering wheels as mine has a joystick to control motor speed and steerage when in manual mode.  Otherwise, I just look at the electronic displays and keep an eye on the horizon.  

So as I type replies on the forum I just look up and scan the horizon and then back to typing.  Also, if an issue occurs with the navigational system an audible alarm sounds.  Don't worry I'm not going to run into anybody.
