I just received back my phantom vision 2 plus drone from repair. After many years of storage, the p2vp video feed no longer worked. I did some research on the topic and learned that this was quite common. The solution was to reflash the FPV module to gain back video feed. I found a technician to perform the task. I received back my drone and now I have video feed and camera.


Questions:


If the drone goes back into storage, will this happen again?


What causes the FPV module to all of a sudden not work anymore?


Do I need to take out the p2vp drone once a month, power on and calibrate drone to prevent this from happening?

Any electronic product will have different problems if it is not used for a long time. If you're not going to fly a drone, just sell it. I think only the one who repaired your drone will know the cause.
