I have 2s and it continues to not connect to my ipad pro12.9 / both are fully updated (as of 9-11-22 but now can’t check now as they wont connect) i was given a work around by a flier on this forum and it worked for 8 months but now I issue is back. Been through 6-8 cables.
Same controller easily connects to iPhone / same ipad connects to mini2 controller / cable from DJI doesnt connect

It seems that you are using a mobile device that is not compatible with the DJI Fly app and the DJI Air 2s and this might be the main cause of the issue that you experienced.
