My understanding so far is that the DJI mic works fine with the Insta360 x3 in the same setup as the Rode wireless go 2, however, Insta doesn't provide the DJI mic with a cold shoe alternative and there seems to be no good alternative on the market yet. Does anyone have any experience using these two together? Have you managed to hide the mic completely? If so, how? And what would I need?

Same here. Looking for a solution. Plus, the Ulanzi cold shoe that Insta360 sells is “too big” for the Dji mic.

I use my DJI mic with my X3 all the time for vlogs. I use the Xmount360 mount. It uses the DJI shoe to attach the DJI receiver vertically to the Insta360 X3 camera. It completely hides the receiver in the stitch line.

Yeah, sorry guys, I ended up taking the long road. I fixed my 3D printer and did the maths. I created a cold shoe very much like this one.. And some variations.

Did you make it back?

I think this might be it, but you'll need to make a trial for 3ds max and then export as obj to print software.
I couldn't find the original print files. Tell me if it doesn't go well or if it's the wrong file, and I'll fix it.
