To me the most damning thing is the correction via lens/diopter test. Ultimately there's this assumtion going around that the image can only be "so good" with that sensor. I feel like that has been thoroughly debunked. The question that remains is: how good can the image get with the existing optics/software and therein is the problem. If this turns out to be something inherently wrong with the lenses, be it focus or the lenses themselves are unable to achieve sharpness, that just sucks because aside form this one issue, I really appreciate everything else about the camera. Just, you know, image quality IS a consideration on a camera. |
