Perhaps you don't fly in manual mode often and you've heard good things about the MC and would like to try one for cinematic.  It's great for new flyers.  Or maybe you lost the one that came with your Avata and you don't want to pay full price for a replacement.   Perfect for someone who bought the "drone only" and want to add to their build.  Between RC2 and MC, I am 70/30 so I really like MC even though it was a little tough to get used to at first.  Works great on the simulator.
