The dry weir.....

Even with some recent rains the weir is still almost dry still.

A bit forlorn-looking, isn't it.  Things are picking up a little here - we can hear the weir again at night.
Very windy still, with bright spells.

It’s quite the photography hotspot when there’s wTer there. It’s the closest thing to a waterfall for 200miles

Usually we get a good amount,   its been somewhat lacking lately,  well until last night.

Got a few flights in this morning, as planned.  Misty at first, but brightening later.  Sunny but breezy now.

Only one short dawn flight for me to add to the Timelapse series Im working on,  but even at 6:58am the wind was pickling up again.

I got strong wind warnings at 50m , and the Mini3Pro couldn't perform a 360Pano (presumably for that reason)
I flew into the base of the cloud layer at 80m to see if lens fogging was an isssue, and it doesn't appear to be, for me at least.

I flew some mist the other day and the Mini 3 came back a little wet on the outside,  nothing major.

Ive only had that twice and both times on the outside which doesn't concern me at all.   I think I picked up a small droplet on that flight.

I've just reviewed the footage, and there's no sign of misting in the video.
However, it's quite cold this morning, and when I landed the drone I looked at the lens, which appeared clear, then when I git it into the warm car it looked misted up - on the outside of course.
Now I've got it home and into the house it's perfectly clear again.

Rain most of today but the high did hit 26C.

Well done

Today we will do the final leg of the river/canal walk.  And although its a good day for the drone Ive decided just to take the IR camera today.   Im feeling a bit droned out.

Lovely morning here. Just had a couple of flights. One for each drone. But now the wind has got up again.
