It probably will fall on deff ears but a petition has started for dji to listen to its customers and provide us with a M3 SDK..

The thing that bugs me about the recent news of the sdk if true is. If known when the M3 was released. That this was the direction DJI was going. I would have waited for the enterprise models and been fine. But instead I feel like I have been swindled into buying a drone that does not fit my full needs and will so quickly need replaced!

I am not being nasty but why buy something in expectation of some 'add-ons' being added and why feel aggrevied if they/it is not?  I would only buy some thing based on what it currently offers.

This 'buy in expectation of .....' thinking puzzles me.
The same thing was seen with the minis, people wanting this that and the other added with some people getting quite 'wound up' about it.

Nothing compells DJI to add these add-ons and no one forces people to buy their products, buy them for what they are and then any add-ons are bonuses .

Lol @Labroides!  Yes.  I thought the same thing.  I signed just as an airing of grievances.  

As with most things in life, it is a nod of the head to how we wish things were, but it is pretty clear to all that DJI is not going to SDK enable the M3 or at the very least slow roll it to the point it just won't matter anymore.  Kind of sad because in addition to the automation use cases that could benefit, it also means users won't have alternative preferred interfaces like Litchi, Dronelink, etc.

Sean, some of us actually had inquired before purchase from authorized DJI representatives and had different answers.  Not all are on the same journey of buy then complain.  : )
