sounds pretty frustrating especially when you dont get a lot of good feedback or you don't have many options.  at this point, it's probably best to wait and see what happens, don't think we have a lot of choices.  too bad you are unable to fly the way you want to fly but at least dji has not said supplies are all gone, you are on your own.

the world is not in good shape, everything is in limited supplies.  have you tried to buy avata fly more battery combo kit?  they go for $600 on amazon and im sure there are a lot of flyers who simply cannot get by on just one battery.  ordinarily i would call it poor planning but it's not just drones and accessories but many items are hard to get and believe it or not, covid and shortages are still having an impact; the good old days are gone.

I got the fly more combo the day I bought everything, didnt know it was also rare to find. I payed normale price, 249euro... Something good atleast. For now I'll fly along with the MC, but I dont want to get some strange muscle memory and behavior in my brain that I "transfer" if I ever use the RC

Just a guess: could it be that FPV controller uses some chips that fall under the US sanctions:

So you're talking 20% + £15p&p (ish) = over £500... for a £139 controller...! Smh  

I just had the company I pre-ordered through email me once again with a delay.... now friday 11th November, In the meantime my avata will fly with motion controller but if they meet the 11th Nov promise then I reckon pigs might fly.... shambles DJI

I did have a thought concerning all of this. One question that really complicates things.. and frankly, I'm not sure I want the answer to..

So, where are the other stores getting their stock replenished from?

No, it's just an Amazon thing putting a price there (they shouldn't have).
The official store does not have it in stock, and there is NO PRICE.   You will see that when you click on the item.

What Amazon did was randomly listing one of the price from "Other buying options", in this case, a listing from a market seller "Beyond Task" at $422.

They've been out of stock at all major DJI retailers here in the US.  None of the retailers will predict when they will get stock in.

Same here in the UK. Most predict 3 weeks till back in stock. Some can't give a date or time period. DJI FPV users are now like.....WUHAHAHAHAHA.

With the Christmas shopping season coming up I'm sure DJI will dump plenty of them on the market soon.  There are a few available on eBay but the prices are triple what DJI charges.

The most worrying part of that reply was - If ever it will be available. Surely DJI realise the demand for this controller for the Avata over the motion controller, which is not an option for pilots who fly acro / manual mode. Just a thought Stephen.

In a "normal" world I would tend to agree. But with the pandemic and supply issues I'm skeptical with the Controller 2. It's just fine as it is designed now for its' intended purposes.

Use the In stock reminder function at DJI store.
The FPV controller 2 were back in stock twice in the past two days.

I missed the first back in stock email, and when I checked a few hours later, it was already out of stock.
Registered my email for the reminder again, and I got another notification a day later.   This time, I was able to grab one, no need to pay for insane mark up.

FYI. FPV Controller 2 can be ordered in amazon.ca today, shipped and sold by Amazon, delivery date Nov 16.
C$259 or US$190, so slightly cheaper than DJI store.

At this point I think you'd get it faster from DJI direct using the "In Stock Reminder." As always you need to act FAST!  It worked for me.

KLRSKIR is correct, use the stock reminder and when getting the email go to DJI store fast otherwise will be gone. In U.S. usually getting the DJI emails by 07:00 AM est time

I never get a notification. It seems there is nothing for Europe. Never seen a notification.

I've installed a timer on my browser to auto refresh the dji controller 2 store page at an X amount of time. It's been running for a few days now. Still no stock.

I see other parts of the world have got stock, but still not the UK.

Keeping in mind, £562 is before import tax! Which would be around 20%. So £674... for a £139 controller... I mean, DJI, have you opened a store page on Aliexpress? Is that where all the stock is going? lol!

That's what I did, no regrets, FPV is awesome and I am glad I got it because that's the goggles I am using for Avata, I cannot use the goggles 2 because my nose....love the sound FPV makes when it starts, reminds me the Terminator movie

that's always been the best option for anyone that didn't have the money concerns.  for 1k you get a lot in the dji fpv package including the coveted rc2 which, btw, is where most all the dji stock is going towards.  i bet 9 of 10 new units go into new stock, refurbs, care refresh, warranty, etc...before the accessory channel(s).

Hi mate,

The ones I've seen in stock or heard about are the USA DJI online store and.. Philippines dji online store, I think.

All other retailers just show as 'awaiting stock' or 'back delivery'.

Hahaha, yea, I wish I have that sort of money to throw around tbh. I'm good with just waiting on the DJI online store being back in stock, be it this side of the century or not
