It would be appreciated if you post the original shot, thanks in advance!

Of course, included the comparison photo but also my original RAW-photo

Here they are on Google Drive:  DNG here

I would say that there is no evident difference between our OA3s, so they both have focus issue, thanks.

Perhaps someone has rightly pointed out that comparing two products from different brands is an abomination.
But from a product released in 2022 I expect results that are clearly the same or higher than another in 2017.
Some have already pointed out that Osmo Action 1 and 2 do not have this obvious focus problem, or at least it is less tangible.
It is possible that the quality of the lenses used is now poorer.
It's a bit like when one buys a $4000 SLR and mounts a $50 lens and you also put them out of focus.

I remember buying two cheap ip cams which were very soft until you took off the front cover and then could manually turn the lens inside and put a spot of glue to hold it there.
Essentially these need the same thing doing but they aren't designed to let you get in and adjust anything.
The correct thing for DJI to do would be recall and replace the ones out of focus.

I think you have a warranty and if your camera doesn’t work as it should use it. You don’t need a box they all have serial numbers.

On this forum you will find on almost every camera and certainly every drone a demand for a recall, you 99% have been sorted through Firmware.
And yes many many calls for Mini 3 to be recalled and Air2 and 2S. This forum is almost designed for this.

Unfortunately not, but I believe that even a child still sees the difference.
If the OA2 were also similar it would mean that that too would have big problems with the lenses.

Even a child can clearly see poster 45 made a much better job of your A3 photo and although not as good as the GP6, it does show just how disingenuous your post looks . If you’re going to test be fair about it so others can understand. So big thank you to poster 45.
You do have a warranty , if mine was that bad id certainly return it .

When you do the update , make a factory reset to test it.
