For example, you want to know the flight path when shooting a Phantom 4 pro video.
I want to know the path (coordinates) that the drone flies.
The flight log DAT file is encrypted, so is there any other way than using an affiliate program such as DatCon?
I want to know how to export a path (coordinates) to a file.

Hello. For the products you inquired about, the GPS coordinate data in the flight records and flight data files cannot be interpreted. You can refer to the steps below to retrieve the GPS coordinate data:
1. When taking a photo, the coordinates at the time of photo taking are stored the photo’s EXIF information. Please note that the information is for a single photo-taking point.
2. If Video Captions are enabled, you can export the coordinate data with the videos at the time of recording. Please note that the data covers the entire video recording process.
It is not possible to export the GPS coordinate data during the entire flight period. We apologize for the inconvenience.

- I have a question for you about the above.
I want to know if a caption file is created separately when video captions are enabled.

Please note that for the Phantom 4 Pro series, the OSD information is embedded in the video, and there is no separate OSD file saved in the microSD card.
Note: If there is no OSD information shown in the video, then it is possible that the video player is not compatible. It is recommended that users use PotPlayer and try again.

Thank you
I was able to view the OSD information with PotPlayer. One more, is there a way to create a file (subtitle file (.smi)) of OSD information recorded in a video?

Hi there, you can save the captions as another file in a player, such as PotPlayer. Hope this is informative for you.

You can export the flight log from the app, and use some analysis tool such as Phantomhelp. pretty useful.

I'm writing again because I have another question.
Is there any other way to check log information by converting the DAT file in which the flight log is recorded?
I ask because the DAT file is encoded and cannot be checked.

Hi, there.
Please note that the Phantom 4 Pro supports your own data analysis.
You can view and analyze the exported flight control data (.dat format) file through the flight date function in the DJI Assistant 2 assistant software, and click open data viewer. You can view the flight coordinates of the aircraft, but they cannot be directly exported to a file format by one-click export and you can view and record the coordinates by yourself.
Thank you for your understanding.

In the case of a drone that creates a separate *.srt file, what happens to the contents of the *.srt file?

Hi, there.
Thanks for the problem, may we confirm if you mean to create a .SRT file automatically after the drone is shot or manually created it by yourself in .SRT format?
Thank you in advance.

Thank you for answer.I created the *.srt file myself.
I want to know if there is a difference between the content when the *.srt file is automatically created by the drone and the case when it is created manually.
I am writing this because I do not have a drone of a model that is automatically generated. Please tell me the content or format of the automatic *.srt file.

Thank you for your reply.
When the *.srt file is automatically created by the drone, the file format and content will not change, they are all the same. And when it is created manually, the file is 0 bytes and will not contain any content.
Thank you for your patience again.

Here is a sample FYR:

There seems to be a misunderstanding.
For models other than the Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, Mavic Mini, DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini SE, when the caption function is enabled and the flight video is recorded *.srt file this is saved
Ask if the content (format) of the *.srt file saved in this way is the same as below.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the misunderstanding.
Hope the following information helps:
In all models supporting video caption functions, except Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Advanced, Phantom 4 Pro, Phantom 4 Pro V2.0, Mavic Mini, and DJI Mini 2, DJI Mini SE,other models can generate SRT files separately.
For aircraft that cannot generate caption files, if the user wants caption files, they can save the captions as another file in a player, such as PotPlayer.
The captions on the Phantom 4, Phantom 4 Advanced and Phantom 4 Pro contain the following information. Please note that the information recorded by each model is not exactly the same. If there is any confusion, please inform us, we will get back to you asap.
