The gopro hero 11 is 400 US dollars on the website.

I definitely won't buy one under any circumstances after truly dreadful experience with Hero4 they sent me replacements three times and they all had different major problems.
I think some of the problems are still ongoing like poor battery life and not infrequent freeze and crash requiring battery out to reset

They've come a long way since the Hero4. Thats like bagging on DJI about their Phantom 3s.

It does seem apparent that the GP11 resolved a lot of bugs in general but of course there are limitations like heat.

It was their attitude too, I had a camera next to useless and the replacements sent out were obvious refurbs which still had problems only different ones to mine.
I just gave up on it and it still floating about somewhere not working properly.

Even the Hero 5 was a massive upgrade on the hero 4. The products have come a long way, but yeah the attitude is still there.
