I'd like to know if ANYBODY actually has a good sample of the OA3. If my suspicion is correct the answer is no.

So please, if you think you have a good copy please post a sample shot of some text or similar at lets say 40cm-50cm in full resolution.

If you guys think the examples you're posting are "good" examples, then I'm sorry, but you need to try other brands out.

I bought the OA3 because the GP10 was having random shutdown issues. While the OA3's actual user experience (battery life and UI) is great, GP10 blows OA3's picture out of the water. All the example photos you guys are posting look pretty bad. They remind me of the quality you got from Sony's Action Cam from 6 years ago.

DJI needs to fix this mess. I would be open to trying the OA3 again, but for the time being I've returned both OA3's I've purchased, and purchased an OA1. If you already have the OA1, I suggest you keep it and not try the OA3 at this time.

I don't trust the people who keep telling users their pictures/videos look good. They sound like shills. If you want to create actual sharp content for other people to see, people are going to laugh at your video quality.

But comparing 12M from OA/OA3 vs 24MP will show big difference in sharpness because of different resolution.

And if you check out Insta360 RS 4K Boost lens is even better than Gopro 10 regarding video quality.

Hi, I think my version is good. I have tested it against Action2.
+ as some said, this is an action cam with 12MP sensor, to be used mainly for video. So I do not expect super competitive picture IQ. focus is fine enough in my copy.

It look like 1440p there aswell. If you change between 1440p and 4K you will see no difference.
And not much is really sharp that it should be. But it doesn't look bad at all, just need little more sharpening in post I guess.

Any good Osmo Action 3s out there?

Mine isn´t good! Overheated at 2,7K and 60fps at an outside temp of aprox 20°C
Than i changed the resolution to 1080 and 60fps and it overheated again.
Fokus: Close objekts are unsharp...

Mine goes back! It´s far to expensive not to send it back (adventure pack).

If there are, then they will probably be digitally oversharpened by new firmware which should compensate the "bad ones".
I guess DJI messed up this one pretty hard, and it will stay like that without a major callback.

But I don't feel they will do that. They probably rather bring out a new camera within in a year now.

DJI literally froze their Amazon listing for OA3, so hopefully the shills in here can stop pretending like this is an isolated issue that firmware can solve.

Head over to Amazon and try to look up OA3 and you won't be able to find it anymore.

None of actually does, but all tests have been done are to show that it is now showing anything from 30cm to infinity in focus, so it is actually like shooting in a lower resolution than 4K, except that nothing is in with OA3.

Rubbish. It is on amazon.com, although out of stock, and on the amazon.co.uk, in stock and available to purchase for next day delivery.

Same here, it may not be perfect but it’s fine for me.

I hear a lot of complaints about GoPro overheating, poor menus, etc. The image may be great quality but that’s no good if the camera has shut down just when you need it.
