My drone's camera will not work, and says firmware update required. I try to update via the DJI GO 4 app and the firmware update fails.

So I've tried to update the Mavic Pro and the controller via the DJI Assistant 2 about 12 times now and it continues to fail to update. Downloads the update, transmits it, then fails around 40% or so.

I get the error: undefined 0x032800

This is very frustrating to have a $1200 piece of equipment stop working because it requires an unnecessary firmware update. The drone was working perfectly fine before DJI forced this update.

I've read quite a few forum posts about this and it sounds like I need to send my drone and controller in for repair.

Thank you,
Jon

Hi there, sorry to read about this issue. Please try to back up the files from DJI GO 4 app, uninstall the DJI DJI GO 4 from your phone and install it again from https://www.dji.com/downloads/djiapp/dji-go-4 and then try to update the firmware again.

Besides, may I know which version of the DJI Assistant 2 you are using? Please try to remove the DJI Assistant 2 from your computer and download it again from https://www.dji.com/downloads/softwares/assistant-dji-2

If the error persists, please send the drone back for further diagnosis and service.
Please click https://www.dji.com/us/service/repair to start an online repair case.
