On ground with motors shut down Avata is in Low Power State . That's the normal state till I startup the motors.

Normal, it can't stay in place if it doesn't. Wind.

Low battery state is just a power saving mode. The bent over thing, I just created the same topic without seeing this. Mine is the same. It flies bent over.

I am going to go with wind perhaps? Seems like logic would have made that answer obvious though... going to think that people are smarter than that.  I would just try calibrating... just calibrate everything that can be... see if that fixes it.

No mine is horizontal.
If it’s tilting it must be drifting ! So I would calibrate the IMU.

I have calibrated everything….still tilted

I have noticed in all of my flights and videos that it's always tilted to the left wind or no wind. Even indoors, it's tilted to the left. I've just come to work with it because I thought it was just me lol. Now that I know others have the same issue, it may be the motors they put on the left or a balance issue with some Avata's. But I have not tried calibrating it so I'm going to try that to see if it fixes mine.
I can however say this when I go into Manual mode, it no longer tilts to the left like that. So with mine, it may be a calibration issue.

Thanks for posting this so I know it's others having the same issue.

Interesting....I've done a ton of flights with my AVATA and the 'ONLY" time it's tilted like that is when the wind is really blowing.  Since your saying there is "NO WIND" and it's hoovering, but still tilted....something is definitely WRONG.

You say everything is 'calibrated' can you be specific on what settings you've calibrated?   Check out page #24 of the DJI Avata User manual.  There is an 'Auto Calibration' of the downward vision system AND there is an 'Advanced Calibration" system as well.  The 'Advanced Calibration' will require using the "DJI Assistant 2" APP.  Hope that helps...

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out and we're sorry for the trouble that this has caused. Can you please try to perform the IMU calibration as this will help maintain the stability of the aicraft? Please make that the calibration finishes without any errors and have a test flight. If the issue persists, kindly please provide us a short video showing the aircraft hovering for us to forward it to our designated team to check. Please keep us posted. Thank you.

tbh, i see no problem, you might not feel any wind, there is always "something". I would say, if you see the tilt in one direction, turn it 180 degrees, see if the tilt changes and is now opposite. You would be surprised how fast a drone would fly away with "no wind" without gps.

Maybe, maybe not - I have noticed that after updating firmware to support avata my dji fpv drone also have issue with tilted - and before I don’t have such a issues
Tbh, I don’t know - I think I just resend all set with two aircrafts to dji for checking…maybe my Rc remote controller 2 broke…

I checked mine over the weekend and I have a slight tilt also, not affecting the recorded videos but I do have a slight tilt depending on which way the wind is coming from.. even a light wind will make it tilt a bit to hold it's GPS position.

No problem? so if you drive your vehicle with left front and rear tires all flat and vehicle tilted to left...that should be fine for you....

WHY this issue was not present prior last update?, nothing to do with holding GPS or counter lateral windy

Is it funny - because I shown indoor video to dji service support and they told me to show them outdoor because  indoor may have gps disturbance

Yes, I have rc controller 2 from fpv combo as well but it doesn’t solve the issue. I want fly in n/s mode indoor and the  proper horizon lvl is crucial in this situation, don’t u think so?

I just took my Avata out for a spin in my work parking lot, and it was also tilted at take-off.  I have noticed this over the last few times I flew and today there was no wind. I was hoping there might be an answer to the problem.

I figured out what was wrong with my Avata.  One of the rubber bushings was not connected to the camera.  I put it back,  tested and it is good as new.

It's tilted because it's fighting the wind. (common sense to me)

There has to be some slight air movement that is not being perceived as wind if it's holding it's position in space while hover in normal or sport then there is air movement. Assuming no weird mechanical misalignments if you were to kick into manual mode and be able to visually put the aircraft at perfect level it will drift in a true no wind/air movement scenario.

Exactly, tilt is unacceptable with the minor wind. I few in 5 km/h wind and my footage looked like it was fighting the hard wind. I have been flying heli's for years and know-how and how much wind should affect something of this size.
