Done a wide open test, a proximity test and now an abandoned site test with the Avata now. All 3 tests have been passed with flying colours. Just need to find more spots now (I have quite a few).....This was flown on the way back from Belper and is found in Chestefield UK -

Looks like those buildings didnt effect the signal then.  

nice place for a rip... sadly we don't see many of these bando's in the south east... how was the signal/connection when going behind walls etc?

Interesting test location Corey.    Great flying and test of the Avata.  I'm a bit surprised you didn't have some signal degradation inside the old building, especially behind some of the walls.

Only normally get it in a small spot at the back and just past the fallen tree (flown under a few times). Soon comes back though when you come back in the building.

Cheers and got some more coming tomorrow. Bigger abandoned site and a bigger challenge and test for the signal. Can’t see any issues though as the Vista on my normal kwads can handle it buddy

There's one part in one of my vids from the weekend where the transmittion dropped to 15mbps, still flyable but picked up straight away past a point. It was the further point that had the most blocking the signal. Avata still bossed it though.

Just one half dead spot at the far end, but that happens with normal kwads too. Little trooper is this drone.
