right now i prefer the dji fpv since i have not yet flown my avata.  i'm new and not yet in manual mode so im enjoying the speed mostly.

I have both. They are very complementary. The DJI PFV is great in big spaces, powerful, fast, more comfortable in manual mode, better wind resistance. The Avata is good in smaller spaces, quieter flight, better camera, noisier. Both are great but I have more fun with DJI FPV, but maybe because I prefer to fly in big open spaces.

I have both.
My avata is easier to carry around but I have more fun flying my big FPV.

If I had a forest or an abandoned building site or some other close proximity locations I would most likely fly my avata more that way I stay away from damaging my aircraft
