I just used my Action 3 for the first time and noticed it generates a LOT of extra files and folders for each clip. I'm getting .LRF files for each video, plus a MISC folder containing .SCR and .THM files. Is there a way to prevent this? My Action 1 never had any of these files.

Also, is there a way to change the video format to .MOV instead of .MP4?

.LRF files can be used as proxy in some editors, and it is only the same file in low resoultion (if you rename them to .mp4).
.THM is thumbnail if I remember right, but rest IDK.

No there is no way of changing to .MOV that I have seen.

Hi there. Thank you for reaching out. Sadly there is no option to change the video format to .MOV on Action 3.

As for the files being generated for each video, there is currently no option to stop the .LRF, .SCR and .THM files from generating, but those files can be deleted manually. Please note that if those files have been deleted, the Playback function is not supported when using the Osmo Action 3 alone and it may affect some other Playback functions.
