Coquihalla simply never disappoints ! My plans for the fall colors trip were slightly altered due to forest fires and I'm glad they did. My buddy and I revisited Coquihalla for 6 days and it greeted us with crazy crimson red colors of blueberry shrubs. I was more careful and deliberate to block the opposing sunlight that backlit the shrubs and popped up the colors, it is a mindboggling sight and a little more challenging to capture, but I think it worked this time. Mainly because we had plenty more sunshine, time and an unusually warm weather for this time of year. Again, I was fascinated by the shapes of the fallen wind-battered, Sun-bleached tree trunks strewn on the ridges. It was a gory scene when viewed from above, it looked like bones of prehistoric animals on a battlefield. Loved it ! :))

Like the autumn views so simple but full of colors. Must be really nice in winter up there, waiting to see a new video.
3-5m of snow up there in winter and super windy, access pretty much depends on clearing the logging road, otherwise it is a very long day, but I found a few snowmobile parts in middle of nowhere up there so obviously ppl do visit in winter too. Might give it a try on skis.
