Do anyone in Europe can say something about range issues?! Many complain about it with the norm FCC... In mine, in about 500m (announced 8km norm CE) it loss connection with remote RC... It´s a mini 3 PRO with POOR connectivity. We just need a update for this drone (1300€) in full power frequency, the user can decide if he went fly in FCC or CE mode... It´s a big fortune to have in hands when some toys (200€) can go longer than a DJI MINI 3 PRO.

In mini 2 as well before the update it can go about 3KM, after few updates, the range is now at the same 500m at the same spot… i just fly once the mini 3 pro and it’s enough to see connection problems…

I can easily fly more than 500m in CE mode.

We will recommend you change to different places and try more times to see whether there are differences in the distance.

I can’t… I don’t know why, but at least i expecting fly it 1Km with no issues at all. In open field 500m I got problems with connection, and I don’t think this is normal…

If you enable the radar are you keeping the dot with the arrow green whilst your flying.  If its blue it means your not pointing at the drone properly.

Also worth trying another location, sometimes some places do have interference,  there is a quarry that I fly and none of my drones can get past 1000m there.

So, that’s what i’m saying… before the updates, the Dji mini 2 can go longer than 1Km, and with last updates, I can’t go more than 500m without losing connection… reminder, exact same spot, different drone, different time, different firmware… I thought it was limited by firmware… on YouTube many users can confirm this problem…

So it’s not an evolution… it’s a downgrade in the mini 3 pro. A brand new drone, almost double price as mini 2, and this is worst in all the way… it’s not making very sense to me… I’m wrong in my opinion?

Why they don’t put FCC mode in manual mode, in fact it’s more dangerous loss connection than fly in FCC mode… it’s the law here (PORTUGAL) flying in CE mode, but for god sake, 500m it’s ridiculous when the drone can go many KM away…

I’d try a couple of other locations and if it’s still that limited I’d be tempted to open a case with DJI.  

Depending on the terrain over which you fly, the Mini3Pro is capable of covering considerably more than 500m whilst maintaining good connection with the RC.

That’s my problem… after this last updates. The issue is the same… I try already other location, but it’s almost the same, 700m and low connectivity with the remote… CE rules, but DJI had to make a power improvement like in FCC rules… in other way, the user at least can choose switching between CE and FCC mode
