Mini3:  AEB3 vs 5 vs 6

A little test comparing AEB 3, 5 and 6 shots merged to HDR.  No further editng done after the merge.

If you don't push the shadows more, you won't see much difference

Can I give them a try in Affinity?
See if you can tell the difference with the same preset.

Nice composition.  I don't detect much difference between the three shots, TBH.

That was my feeling too,  the dynamic range in the Mini3 is capturing so much details the 5 shots isn't really needed.

It came about as I mentioned to Peter than the AEB5 didnt seem necessary as the dynamic range on the Mini3 was better.   So I thought Id do a little test.  Less shots are easier to work with.

Interesting,   I guess thats good if you want to make the whole image brighter.  

Nice shots. After going back and forth for some time I see a difference in the low lights, bottom left and mid right. Otherwise I don't see a difference.

Well, the whole point of AEB for me is to be able to decrease the contrast of a shot.
So in essence you will make a lot brighter yes, since you will usually expose for the brightest part.
That will bring out the details of the dark area's much more.
I use AEB7 mostly on my DSLR>

I was 'in between bites' so did not pay attention to details.

I try to make it 'as natural' as I can. Since the human eye (brain) can do this automatically, I feel it is ok to do it with AEB. As long as it is not overdone.
