This is quite a recent video with the contractor putting up the wooden frame. Next one will take some time as my brother in law now has to find time and good weather to sand and treat them all.

He is!   Were you playing the music over a loudspeaker so he could keep to the beat?

Great job of documenting this portion of the build.    It really is quite the coincidence that the gent is hammering to the beat.  By the way I love the background music.

Nope.
This is Douglas and you can leave it untreated, but it will change color.
So he will treat them with some kind of oil.
Also, it is straight from the sawmill, so it is best to sand the edges down now before more 'house' is added and it is hard to reach everything.

Little update on me:

Since my accident where I got shot with a spear gun, yesterday was the first time I've been back scuba diving.  I was a bit apprehensive but once in the water and making bubbles all was well again.

Turned out to be an interesting dive.  Fish have fully taken over the sunken ships.  The marine growth is doing its thing also.  It is already starting to blend into the ocean bottom as if it naturally belonged there.  I saw a couple of really large manta rays.  They are amazing to see when swimming but for safety I keep a good distance back.
