Just got the Tilta bottom plate v mount adapter in for the RS3 Pro and trying to load it with an an FX3, Tamron 28-200, and Andycine 98w mini v mount. Is there any way to balance the tilt motor with a mini v mount?

It balances well in a flat angle but any up or down tilt and it's going to red. Have the plate currently maxed out as high up the arm it can go and when tilted lens up it just settles bottom down again. Wondering if the Tilta mount is worth the hassle or if mounting the v mount behind the camera with stock bottom plate is the play.
