Its great to learn with content in this forum. I feel the learning curve is going up and faster. Lets hope I don´t crash.

Well done - if this was your first flight expiriance, then I am really looking forward to the next ones. This movements are really smooth, which I would say is very good. Nice scenary and good framing. I like it that you are flying quite low. Well done

Thank you ElleKN for comment. I try to plan the flight like I has a bird no hard movement. At the moment my biggest challange its my dog that is always ready to attack the Drone.

Nice job for a first. Great scenery too.

Well we do have to learn from our mistakes and sharing them sometimes helps keep others from making the same mistakes.  I've crashed a couple of times and have learned from it how to be a better pilot.  As far a photography and videography it just practice, practice, practice.

In your drone crashes what was the main reason for crash? Testing the limits of the drone? Did you recover the drone?

The dog doesn´t change . I will have to find way to adapt myself to this dual task.

One was caused by setting RTH too low and 2nd was a bird strike while flying close in.

I try to use the RTH to get the drone closer the landing I do it manually.
The bird strike is something that happens commonly with drones?
Do you use stickers on the drone to avoid the bird strikes?

I only use RTH for emergencies.  The crash that happened was due to loss of signal and me not having set the height properly for that location.  

Decals are of no use here for birds.  Around the ocean the gulls are very aggressive around drones.  Inland the hawks and falcons are easily attracted to the drones.  I've learned that to escape them it is best to ascend quickly and leave the area.  The predator birds can dive faster than they can ascend which is why I climb vice descending when they are near.

About the birds, your climbing maneuver are very clever.
Do you change the drone to a faster mode to escape, or just maneuver away?  
Do the birds get injured by the drone propellers?

Crashed Mini 2 was sent in to DJI for repair and I quickly received a refurbished drone.

When ascending to get away from the pesky birds I switch into Sports mode.
