Lightning supports only mono, mic has the latest firmware. the issue happens only on recording when using adapter for iPhones, I tried to monitor sound an it is okay. Pins are all good. i tried to use mic on multyple iphones, same problem
Hi, Jahongir. Thanks for the update. Here are the following recommendations if you're using an adapter:
1. Ensure that the DJI Mic receiver is firmly connected to the mobile phone.
2. Decrease the DJI Mic receiver and transmitter gain as appropriate.
3. Enable the “Low Cut” function.
* When adjusting the gain, insert the microphone into the monitor port on the DJI Mic receiver for best adjustment effect.
Due to restrictions related to the iOS device’s Lightning port, when DJI Mic is used with an iOS device, videos can only be output with analog signals. During transmission, the signal may be changed by external interference due to the nature of the analog signal. Once the signal is amplified, overlapping interference signals cause severe distortion as well as noise and decrease the signal-to-noise ratio. As such, the audio performance is poorer than digital audio.
Please rest assured that I will provide your recommendation to DJI engineers. If there are any updates, we will announce it on the DJI official website right away. Please check for related announcements. Thank you for your understanding and support. |
