It has been quite a while since I last posted on these pages....anyway I've been flying professionally in sport events for a full season now and this was a funny yet wet day to fly.
The pilot was extremely good so it made for a unique opportunuity to film something you don't see every day.
The GoPro here was accidentally set to 25fps 4k resolution while I usually fly 5k at 50fps, the drone is a DIY 5" with DJI Air Unit system and DJI Googles V2.
There is no digital zooming nor panning just internal GoPro stabilization, you can also see the mud blob slowly dripping on the screen -_-"
I gave up when the 1380mah battery was depleted.

I got videos where the fenders sometimes get ripped off and are dragged for the entire race dangling down on the dirt attached just by a couple od screws to the chassis.
Once one flew away passing very close to the drone mid air xD

Ahah, funny thing, the people are often mesmerized by the drone flying in close proximity to the car rather than the car itself.
People come to me asking if the drone is doing that stuff on its own or is it me "driving" it xD
As if a Mavic or any other camera drone could do stuff like that

Yes it's unbelievably agile. And your reactions must be pretty instantaneous too.

Not as much as in racing but fast enough.
In this video I'm not even flying too close to the vehicle because it is spraying a lot of mud wich could easily take the drone down.
When I fly very close to the car I have to make a lot of micro adjustments fast especially if the pilot is not good and doesn't take the proper trajectory.
It is easier and more spectacular when you got a good fast pilot.
