I recently visited Nijreesbos, a popular hiking forest situated in the eastern part of the Netherlands. The tree leaves are beginning to fall and showcases a color gradient that exemplifies Autumn. I was curious about the view from an aerial perspective, hence I used my DJi mini2 to obtain images and videos, which was a beautiful spectacle.

I do understand your concerns about flying over railroad. I kept a safe distance from the rails (120 m in height) and before flying around Nijreesbos, i consulted godrone to be sure drone flights are permitted in that region.
Finally, asides keeping VLOS and ensure weather conditions are optimal, and keeping an eye on flightradar etc, there will still be some risk involve in flying within any space. The most important thing is to be fully sensible and demonstrate situational awareness during the drone flight.

In The Netherlands it is not allowed to fly over railroads. Depending on the drone you need to keep 25m or 150m horizontal distance
(The height is not relevant for this rule, but horizontal distance)

They unfortunately don't show up on the godrone app (not sure why, that would make it more easy for us).

Here they explain it quite simple. (Dutch text)
dronevliegers moeten een afstand houden ten opzichte van wegen en spoorlijnen: in Open subcategorieën A1 en A2 minstens 50 meter afstand houden van snelwegen, autowegen en 80 km-wegen. Voor spoorlijnen is dat 25 meter. Dronevliegers in subcategorie A3 moeten 150 meter afstand houden van zowel wegen als spoorwegen.

So with a Mini (<250g) you have to keep at least 25m horizontal distance from railways.
