Having sold my Mavic 2 due to the upcoming changes in the EU, regarding drone flying I bought myself a DJI Mini 3 Pro. First I was not sure about its flying performance and video capability, but men this is a flying beast, so small and still able to perform very well.
I compiled a video during my holiday in the Engadin in Switzerland. Fall is always a great time for hiking in the mountains and exploring the beautiful forests.
So, I hope you like my first shots with my new Mini 3 Pro.

Love that mist down in the valley - and there's even a train for one of our forum regulars!

Icm iterested to know what the EU changes are that make the Mini 3 Pro more attractive than the Mini 2, though...both being sin-250g and neither having a C classification...

And at least it makes sense now... And it doesn't mean that the EU have introduced some odd rule that means you can't fly a Mini 2 but can fly a Mini 3!

Not that I expect to be able to go fly in mainland Europe any time soon, though, same... CoViD has shrunk my world somewhat.

Sorry to hear that... I just can't see how we get past it without mask wearing become normal in enclosed and crowded spaces for a long while.

And it doesn't help that the media keep referring to us being 'post pandemic'... This is far from over, unfortunately.

I’m still masking in shops etc.   most of my friends are amazed we’ve not had it yet.

There are very few of us left that haven't had it

It amazes me the number of people I've spoken to that day they are still being careful and then about they never wear masks, travel on public transport (including the tube at peak times), eat out regularly... I'm not sure what they are doing different that means they are being careful

Or the number of people that have had it and said "I don't know where I picked it up" and then list all of those things above that they have done in the last week!

We were in Lanzarote and got back to the uk 1 week before the lockdown started.   It was very odd at Stansted airport when we arrived back.

Same but different - I was in the Alps right at the end of Feb.

Found out while there that the office was locking down with immediate effect as a precaution (two or three weeks before national lockdown announced). So never went back in!

I was in Switzerland end of September and the leaves on the trees were starting to turn gold (some were turning red). Can't wait to go back.

Most likely not at the same time as the regulations starts in the other countries since Switzerland is not in the EU. But they will sooner or later adapt them, there is no way around it

I was in the Jungfrau region (stayed in Wengen) for about a week, and did all of the touristy stuff (Grindelwald, Jungfraujoch, Lauterbrunnen, Schynige Platte, etc). Want to go back in the same area for a few more days to see things I couldn't do see to the weather at the time (Murren/Gimmelwald, maybe go to Schilthorn). Then maybe trek down to Zermatt or go up to Appenzell.
Such a fantastic country. I left Switzerland knowing that I want to come back. I had the same feeling when I went to Japan.

wow you already vised many places, and yes the region of Appenzell is really nice especially the "Alpsteingebiet". But also the Engadin would be a nice place to visit and and and so many more
