Clock change doesn't happen here until November 6th.  Always take a while to adjust to the difference although it is only one hour.

I was up 'early' (relatively) this morning to capture some brown stuff.

I was out for a forest walk and some IR that was a fail.,  and then the drone idea also was a fail,   I might make a post about it tomorrow.

At least you tried!
I got 4 superb flights this morning.
The only thing that was 'missing' was a real brown scenery.
I uploaded one example, that was 'the best' I could get.

Such a lovely, vibrant picture. Well captured! :-)

Interesting how the contrails mirror the tide lines. Nice touch.

The main river is under the flight corridor into London so maybe it's related to that.

The Senate passed the Sunshine Protection Act by a unanimous vote.  Unfortunately, the measure has not yet passed in the U.S. House of Representatives.  It’s unclear if the House will vote on it this year, given everything else on the house's agenda once they return after the elections.  A recent poll has shown that over 80% of the citizens want the bill passed so now we have to wait and see how politics plays out.

Oh I didnt realise that,   what a shame.  I would love us to do the same here.   Every year when the clocks changed it gets discussed and then forgotten about.

Ive been using Picture this on my iPhone to scan some of the trees lately and most of the birch have come top and eastern.   It's a good little app and you can just press cancel in the top right when it advertising a subscription so you can use most of it for free/.  they also do one for mushrooms.

It has been brought up almost annually but it seems it just never makes it through the House of Representatives.  They always are too busy bickering over partisan issues to take a look at something that the majority of the people want.  

I just wish they would make it permanent and be done with it.

Ive not see that one,  I will check it out.

It is quite interesting and there is a team of volunteers behind it that help (correct) identifications.

I just tried identifying some mushrooms that have come up in the lawn,  and the app thinks they are horse mushrooms which are edible.  Im not sure how much trust I have though.
