Hello again for the sunny SoCal!
Long time no flying and no posting.
In addition to being incredibly busy at work, the weather was non-cooperating in a most polite SoCal way: no clouds, with an occasional total overcast.
Finally, it looks like the seasons have finally turned to the more cooler winter temps (meaning 60ies and 70ies instead of 80ies and 90ies), and with those came some moisture and - you guessed it - cloudsses!
I must say, I screwed up yesterday. There was a solid A+ sunset on Halloween. But I was at a family function, and while I actually had the drone in my car, it was not kosher to leave everyone and go flying, so I just took some iPhone pics,
Today clouds still were present, although nowhere near yesterday's. It was C+ at best.
Anyway, I decided to take off, if only to remember what does it feel like.
The light lasted only a few minutes and the sun dropped below the marine fog layer at least 10 before the peak, so I was only able to grab a couple of panos.
#1 Still waiting for the satellites. For some reason, it took a very long time again.
#2. Moved to a nearby park - and that ended up being the last light
FWIW, this is what an iPhone snapshot from yesterday was:
Thank you for stopping by!
