Now that I'm around halfway through autumn, with winter just around the corner, I am finding that I don't have as many opportunities to use my drone.

How do I look after my batteries for my Mini 2 when I seldom use it at this time of year? Is it safe to keep them in the charging hub and let themselves discharge until I am ready to use them again?

Thank you in advance for any tips and advice, which are more than welcome.

That is what I do at least. (keep them in my bag and let them discharge)

Hello there neoborg. Thank you for reaching out. The DJI Mini 2 has an Auto-Discharging Function to prevent swelling. The battery automatically discharges to approximately 96% of the battery level when it is idle for one day, and automatically discharges to approximately 72% of the battery level when it is idle for five days. It is normal to feel moderate heat being emitted from the battery during the discharging process. In addition, it is also safe to store them on the DJI Mini 2 charging hub when not in use. Thank you.

Do not keep them in the charging hub without power. I accidently forgot my three for some weeks and they were almost completely discharged.
That hub might be good for charging your batteries but not for storing.

As usual DJI Stephen comes with faulty and wrong information.

Store them completely by themselves charged initially to min 40% and max 70%.
