Removing the Storage Cover

[Important] Remove the storage cover before powering on the drone.

· When powering on the drone, the gimbal will rotate and perform self-check*. If the storage cover is not removed, the motor may be damaged or the service life will be affected, or even impact the flight safety after takeoff.

· To safeguard the camera lens and aircraft arm, you’d better attach the storage cover to your drone during daily storage or carrying outdoors.

* If the drone is powered on without activation, the gimbal will not vibrate and run self-check.

· Removing the Storage Cover

Hold the aircraft, pull out the hook at the rear of the storage cover, and detach the storage cover.

· Attaching the Storage Cover

1. Power off the drone, and manually adjust the gimbal and camera to face forwards.
2. Make the aircraft’s nose point to the inside of the storage cover and then insert the hook from bottom to top. Make sure that the hook is securely attached.

Powering on or off the Device

The most crucial point of flying a drone is powering on and off. As will any DJI product, to turn it on/off, you will need to press the power button on the drone/remote controller once, and then press and hold the button.

Status Indicator Descriptions

You can tell the status of your device through the blinking patterns of the aircraft status indicator. Different color indicates different status of the aircraft, and the blinking frequency as well. Refer to the table below for more information about the aircraft status indicators.

Attaching and Removing the Propellers

As we all know, there are two types of propeller/motor: CW and CCW, and you can easily recognize it through the mark on it. Before mounting the propeller, better confirm the mark on each first.

· Distinguishing between Propellers

If the propeller is mounted in an improper way, the drone cannot take off.

A Propellers (CCW)

B Propellers (CW)

Replacing the Propellers

Step 1: Place the drone horizontally and make sure that the drone’s camera faces forwards;

Step 2: Attach the propellers with marks to the motors with marks. Press the propeller down onto the motor and turn until it is secure;

Step 3: Attach the unmarked propellers to the motors without marks. Press the propeller down onto the motor and turn until it is secure.

Getting Ready For First Flight

Watch this video to guide you through your first flight with DJI Mavic 3 Classic:

Intermediate Operations

Night Mode

When the Night mode is enabled, high ISO can be used to get a properly exposed image. The footage appears to hold onto highlights and capture rich blacks with minimal noise when recording in low-light during a nighttime flight

For an overview of how to use Night Mode, watch the video below.

Hyperlapse shooting modes include Free, Circle, Course Lock, and Waypoint.

A Hyperlapse video is one that speeds up real-time footage so that the viewer can quickly see what has happened. The process of slowly changing objects or scenes is compressed, which will present a strange and wonderful sight in a short period of time.

Watch this video to learn more about Hyperlapse:

FocustTrack includes Spotlight, ActiveTrack, and Point of Interest. This means that you can select a subject and the drone will automatically keep that subject in frame without pushing the control stick.

For an overview of how to use FocusTrack, watch the video below:

This feature essentially gives anyone the ability to get all the best shots in any location within just a few minutes and just a couple of taps. After the automatically generated shots have been recorded, it creates an automatic video clip based on your settings.

Watch this video to learn more about MasterShots:

DJI Mavic 3 Classic supports up to 3x digital zoom to create the perfect composition.

Live Streaming

When using DJI RC-N1 remote controller with your mobile device, you can live stream with your Mavic 3 Classic via DJI Fly. Live streaming is not available when using DJI RC.
Go to 「“...” > Transmission > Enable Livestreaming」to broadcast the camera view in real time. Mavic 3 Classic supports livestream platforms and multiple resolutions for you to choose from and connect with your world face-to-face at any time.

Note to input the RTMP address as below: RTMP address/stream key. Please do add the “/” (forward slash) between the RTMP address and the stream key. Only in this way, can the live streaming screen be displayed.

I'm trying to figure out what 'Supersampled 4K' means.  Is this just the same 4K that's in the DJI Mavic 3 5.1K sensor and other DJI drones, or a different feature?
