When I fly my drone with the DJI RC remote, there isn't a lot of range, the farthest I flew with my DJI mini 3 was 1127m. Is it normal or something is wrong?

Based on tests with the Air 2S It has the same range as the RC-N1. More than 2Km in CE mode.

Saving this video for later. Will probably get this drone. Thanks

Firmware update fails at 79% every time.   Thoughts?

firmware updates fail after 79% install.   Am I the only one having this issue?

MAVIC 3 with RC remote control on firmware: V01.02.0100 there is no menu with course lights and in the settings of the buttons on C2 - auxiliary light. After the update, all this was gone. If the remote is not connected to the drone, then there is a menu with the course lights, but it is not active / to choose something, turn it on, turn off it is not possible /.

And still they did not fix the custom stick bug on android and their RC REMOTE. I feel so stupid for trusting this company, never again. Here is a petition. It's possible on IOS but not on Android OR THEIR OWN CONTROLLERS. Here is a link to a petition which probably won't do any good as they see intent on ignoring the issue. https://chng.it/GSRx9ZYrBC

Go to another company and quit crying about DJI then. Your complaints aren’t helping anyone.

You need to do it manually. Turn RC on, select Profile on bottom.  Select Settings, then select Check for Firmware Updates. Voila - RC should see new update to download!

The offline maps area is so small. Can we please add some size adjustability or other options to it for the next update?

I agree! I didn't expect them to add offline maps. I am very happy with this controller.

Definitely an unexpected surprise but sure glad they included it in the update.

I like the RC controller but like the RC Pro even better as I can add 3rd party Apps, stream HDMI out and the extra 300 NITS comes in really handy on bright sunshine days.  

I thought I saw something about waypoint support in the release notes for the M3??

Correct, only M3 at this time. Maybe later for other the drones.

I was trying to set up offline maps today, and seem to have found a significant bug.  This happens for me on both my DJI RC and my RC Pro.

I tried to get offline maps for an area:


It seems to work fine.  However, when I go to the "downloads" tab and select that map, it seems to have only extracted a small portion of the desired area located in the center of my selection.

An alternate explanation is that the correct maps have been downloaded, but the preview of offline maps is wrong.

Either way, this seems to be a consistent and easily reproducible problem, based on my tests.

While I'm complaining... It would be very nice if it were possible to identify which areas are already downloaded when selecting an area to create another offline map.  As it is now, there's no way to ensure good coverage of a broad area while minimizing overlap.

Same issue here!!! Tried to update the RC that came with the Mini 3 Pro combo via wifi and it stuck at 78% every time! Next I tried to update via computer and it got stuck at 26 % every time. Factory reset the RC didn't help and the purple light remain on with 2 green lights all the time now. It won't even display the LED when charging! I think my RC is dead some how, can any one from DJI guide me to send this in for replacement or repair? Planning to take this on a trip  but now the RC is dead, very disappointed!

do not buy this remote!  a very high percentage of breakdowns due to poor quality parts!

I had an issue with the left wheel but DJI swapped it for a new remote,  no hassle or fuss.  

I installed the new update.  Looking forward to testing it out tomorrow with the M3P.

Anyone know what the improved flight recorder is all about?

Latest update is missing gain and expo settings dji fly app 1.9.1 iphone - will this be coming back on the mini 2?

DJI confirmed in another thread that it fixed a bug in the flight centre.

No probs KLRSKIR.    For airdata I use their HD Sync tool.  

The Android app replaces the older HD Sync app (there is no longer need to install the Android HD Sync).

I have the Mini 3 with RC (the one with built in screen) There is no way to get the stitched panoramas to my phone. I can only view it on the remote but i can't download it to the remote. The DJI Fly app on my Android does not connect to the Mini 3 anymore for a direct transfer. Also when i put the SD card in my PC there is not stitched Panoramas, I also checked in that data v5 folder path.
How do i get a ready made Panorama Sphere to my Android phone. I alreadyt tried for many hours and read all the instructions but right now there is no way to do it for me. please help
