If you are buying a Mavic 3 Classic, which package version are you getting?

3 versions available-- M3C w/ RC-N1, M3C w/RC, M3C only

i thought it was suppose to be cost effective, add the fly more kit
filters and whatever else needed and the cost is right back up there.

Not me. Too heavy for me in the EU.
<250g drone is the only one that will work for me.

Monty this has the C1 label so it can fly pretty much everywhere in the EU.

I am debating on the Mavic 3 Classic... I like the new features of the Mavic 3 Classic like Cruise Control, larger sensor and long flight time but with this comes a bigger drone, ie, >250g. Obviously the cost is huge too so might go back to my original plan and get the Mini 3 Pro instead.

But it has the C1 label so really not a problem to fly in the EU.

Some things do still depend on the weight.
Here in NL flying over buildings and people for example.
And the requirement to take and exam.

Mavic 3 is such a great drone and the improvements in FW and SW make this a really great drone. I would buy if I didn’t already have one.

From the videos on youtube it does look a great drone

The size is too big for me. I'm too used to carrying my Mini 3 Pro in my pocket and launching, from pocket to flying,  in no time. Just so quick and convenient

Totally understandable, I recall your issues earlier. I am in no rush to buy a new drone, either Mavic 3 Classic or the Mini 3 Pro, so will wait a few more weeks for issues to be flushed out.

The Mini 3 Pro was a great drone out of box, no issues at all well except for fogging in the lens just once

Under the EASA rules you can fly everywhere except over people intentionally.  After the transition you should be good, although EASA say that if you have a labelled drone you don’t have to wait.  Hendrick covered the emails he’s exchanged with eada in his videos.

1500 just for a drone is a lot for a common user. Might be that some users that has special needs, will get it.

Im not actually.    Its a significant price at £1309 for drone only,  add to that more batteries etc and then I have to ask myself does it give me >£1000 of value over the M2P and M3P and the few extras I dont feel are worth it.   Not forgetting that the mini3 tends to be in my walking bag and the Mavic 3 would add a fair amount of extra weight.

So much for the EU EASA rules harmonising the rules so that any one with a C labeled drone knows the rules where ever they go in EU.

So they should add which countries the rules are applicable in to this chart. As it's going to cause a lot of confusion for people traveling in EU.

Yeah, for example, they don't show the country specific addition of 'not flying over railroads) that we have here in NL.

Well, the basics are the same, but all countries have some say over other details.
And to some extent I think this is good. Not all countries have the same way of organizing things.
But I agree it gets confusing quickly.

But that harmonised eu rules are supposed to make it possible for you to pass the test in any eu country and fly the same rules in EU/Switzerland and even Liechtenstein. EASA said they would replace the local rules for C classified drones.

Im very happy with the quality from the Mini 3,   I dont think spending 1300 + 3 batteries would give me much benefit over M2P and M3P combination.

I would def. like to see that first. So far I have had bad results with VND.
And TBH, I wonder what the real benefit is, since the drone is up there.
You're not gonna fly back, change density and take off again (that is not very convenient)

I have them on the M2P and they are just so convenient to  rotate the ring than fight to change the filter, especially if your not sure which one you need.
