Does anyone know if a Mavic Air 2 remote is compatible with the new Mavic 3 Classic? It’s still the same style of remote, but it looks like the drone operates on a newer version of Occusync, so I’m not sure. Would be nice though to be able to buy the new Mavic 3 classic without the remote, and save the money for another battery.

Yes the RC-N1 which is the older controller that supports Air 2 also supports the Mavic 3 Classic.

Hi, Mr Smith. Thank you for your inquiry. RobZilla is correct. The RC-N1 that comes from the Mavic Air 2 is compatible with the new Mavic 3 Classic. Please note that once the remote controller has been linked with a DJI Mavic 3 Series aircraft, the DJI RC-N1 remote controller will automatically perform the corresponding firmware update. Just like DJI RC Pro, the RC-N1 supports O3+ video transmission. You may refer to the FAQ section of the Mavic 3 Classic for more details through this link: {https://www.dji.com/mavic-3-classic/faq}. Should you need any further assistance, please feel free to contact our DJI support at http://www.dji.com/support, we are always here to help.
