£1,529 With the DJI rc here it 1309 drone only.

I was tempted.  However, with all the changes being discussed at the FAA level I'm not sure how much more money I want to invest into recreational drone flying.  Lots of people in the know are saying recreational flyers are not going to be happen with the changes coming over the next couple of years.

So I'm just going to keep on flying Air 2S and Mini 3 Pro.  Maybe just spend "recreational funds" on more dive equipment.  Might even purchase an underwater drone.  Although, I'm not liking that they have to be tethered.

I just saw the price of the batteries as was blown away but the cost,  weight would bother me as I like to walk with the drone a lot.

I'm just going to sit it out.  Nothing really recreational drone flyers can do anyway as we don't have a high powered advocacy group to present our arguments.  The commercial drone delivery companies have invested heavily in advocacy groups and firms so they are well represented.  

People are really weighing in on the recent activation of remote ID by DJI.  All the brouhaha was brought up previously about privacy and pilot's safety concerns but the FAA denied it would be an issue and cited overriding circumstances as to why it would be implemented.

Im sorry I have to laugh as for months there's been a who har about if and when would DJI support RID.

Since the FAA controls zero air space beneath the water I've starting looking at this underwater drone.

It is very capable and two divers I've been out with have one.  The only drawback is it has to be tethered.  Until they figure out a way to maintain signal connectivity underwater there is just no other way around a tether.  I do like that it has a 4K camera with 160 degree FOV and offers up to 6 hours of battery time (which would make for a long dive).  The 6,000 Lumen light is top of the line.

Just pre ordered this beauty!!!
Can't wait to recieve it and hope things go as planned in terms of delivery dates!

Now thats the best underwater drone Ive seen so far,   the other reviews Ive seen have been pretty boring.

I like it but I'm still in the research and do my due diligence pre-buy mode.
