If you strongly pull back and forth, the Drone will gradually increase the height. I think this is due to the strong roll when starting and braking the Drone.

Braking does not introduce a roll movement.
The software needs to calculate the revs of the 4 motors from pitch down to pitch up and vice versa.
It is 'normal' to see some height changes in this attitude change movement.
Nothing to be worried about....in you log minor height changes so best is not to look for problems when there are no problems.
