Thanks Depp. This was the nearest town to where we've been staying (as opposed to the little villages dotted about)  We move on tomorrow morning, for a further week in another area.

Lovely sphere,   I hope you flew over to that bridge though.  

That is a nice sphere.
I like how there are '2 sides' to it.
One with the church and then you look 'back' and see the river.

Wow, that's an amazing 360 Mr. B.    Love the location and views from the Abbey.

From the looks of the river banks I'd say the level of the water is down quite a bit.

Thanks.  I did - but not from there, nor on that day. It was too windy. The next day I parked on the opposite side of the river and used the Mavic2Zoom as is was still quite breezy.

I did have a good education, and I have read extensively in my many years

Now thats a shame.  As long as you set the RTH home lower than you're flying at and there is a clear line between you and the drone it will fly home if there was an issue,   and with the Mavic 2 it back tracks the flight a bit first anyway.

Maybe next time
I had a couple of issues there.
The M2Z lost contact with the RC while I was filming Palais Briau - even the RTH wouldn't work.
Fortunately I managed to steer it back manually, even though the DJI App would not reload.
And a sequence I filmed with the Mini3Pro for some reason filmed in SLOMO. I can't for the life of me figure out why. 1/4 speed
