Agree too but if they don't then at least give us waypoints 3.0 and some other stuff

That does not mean, that it doesn't make sense to ask again and again.

The demand for a SDK for the Mavic 3 series is there, especially as the M3 Enterprise is not an alternative in lots of use cases in Europe. The M3E has 150g to much specified MTOM to be classified as C1 in Europe.

So, I can confim @DJI: Please allow a SDK for the M3.

Or maybe, offer a Mavic3 with a SDK and waypoint compatible firmware and C1 classification as "M3 Enterprise light Inspection Editon" :-)

For us, C1 or C2 classification is not a question of qualification, but a question of operational legal issues. You cannot compare UAS.OPEN.A1 and A2 within dense populated urban areas. Btw. a C2 classification of the E series hasn't even been official announced yet.

Technically, with the Mavic 3, DJI has a perfect tool for technical inspections in urban surroundings. Powerful, easy to handle, upcoming C1 classification.
It is such a pitty, that a simple function like an SDK is missing to fulfill all of the needs.

This needs to stay the top topic on this forum.  Then MAYBE someone important at DJI will take notice. Surely someone at this company will realize that angering a broad swath of the customer base is not a good idea.

I would also add that the lack of SDK support would have been useful to know this before everyone purchased the Mavic 3.  Of course, they knew that would affect sales in a negative fashion.  It's easier to make people angry after the no-return window has closed.  What they don't get, though, is that this is a one time trick.  I will not be eager to buy any future Mavic without properly disclosed SDK plans.

Honestly, as a consumer, I fully expected the SDK to take around a year, but to be released.  To have them literally withhold the "software update" for it out of choice is a let down.  It is bad for DJI to do this.  There is no gain here, none.  @DJI Please release the SDK for the M3.  Thank you.

Its one of those things.  Like the ability to take your car where you want to repair it.  Some car companies thought "oh we will just lock the other shops out with software tricks".  And thankfully our government had none of that, and now toyota or honda or whatever needs to allow repair shops access.  I personally don't think it is up to DJI to determine who is doing what with the drone, thats the PICs choice in our country, most others as well.  Saying theres enterprise drones vs consumer drones is silly, imagine if apple made the enterprise apple phone.  

dji nerfing the sdk from the m3 drones is like microsoft removing the ability to run programs on its desktop.  microsoft could have done that decades ago.  dji is using a few 0s an 1s to prevent you from using your drone the way you want to.  

@dji there is no net gain in sales, so I don't know why.  Other then to gaslight your users.
