Great shot!   I don't think he'll crash DA as he has 2 bow lines on.  Must not be any water movement or the stern would move around.  I bet he just went pierside for a short time and then got right back underway.

Well Saturday was mostly a chores day,  although I did get a sunrise flight in and a little boat chasing the afternoon,    another joker doing 25mph in the 8 limit.    But today was supposed to be a visit out to see if we can spot the seals but the fog has arrived so I may have to change that plan.

Unfortunately, there will always be a scofflaw out there in a boat or car.  

If the weather holds I'm going to slow smoke a slab of brisket.  It can be a tough cut of meat when cooked wrong, as in a hurry over a high heat, but when cooked very slow and low it really picks up a great taste and is not tough.

Brisket is one cut of meat that Im not a fan of,    Slow and it's like old rubber tyres and long and slow and it's just too stringy.  But if we were all the same it would be boring.

Maybe, or your food palate just doesn't like that cut of meat.  I just got back from a run over to the local shrimp boats that had just returned.  I picked up some really nice colossal size shrimps for $10 a pound.  Going to boil up a few for dinner I think.

I still have plenty in the refrigerator that I need to eat soon while they are still fresh.  Might just whip up a paella with them.  Thanks for the the suggestion.  I have a recipe for paella that I got from some of the locals in Valencia Spain.  The key I've found is to use real paella rice from Valencia as it always turns out better for me.

Yikes, much more reasonably priced in Spain.  I had a friend bring me back some from his last State Department trip to Madrid.  He too put it in his carry on luggage.

I just checked the prices,  from a supermarket in Spain 2.46 EU. vs £7.50 here.

Yes,   there are cheaper ones in Spain but Im a big fan of Arroz Calasparra.   But any other ones in the cloth bags are usually pretty good.

My favorite one to use is the Gourmanity Rey Del Arroz Authentic Spanish Paella Rice from Valencia.

So far so good.  I tried a couple of the locally grown rice and they turned out bad.  Only the Bomba rice seems to work and only from Spain.
