The support team could not solve my problem with a defective power controller for this remote, so I decided to file a formal complaint through my representative in China against this manufacturer.  I would like to believe that my precedent will be a lesson for them and Dji users will not be afraid to sue if their rights are violated.

Yes, it will certainly be a lesson for them; if and only if anything will ever happen as a result of your 'formal complaint'.
