Lake Lucerne ( Vierwaldstaetter See ) is Switzerland’s fourth-largest lake, located in the center of the country. The lake is unusual because it has a very irregular shape, with many bends and turns and four arms. Encircled by popular excursion mountains, Lake Lucerne is the lake with the greatest scenic variety in the country. It is somewhat reminiscent of a fjord landscape, yet remains characterised by a mild lake climate. Lake Lucerne or Bodensee is the third biggest lake in Central Europe and is on the path of the Rhine River. The lake shore is shared between the German federal-states Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria, the Austrian federal-state Vorarlberg and Eastern Switzerland. Great shots. And a wonderful experience, no doubt.
Top job Dronie but I'd have reservations about living in some of the cliff top houses. Get up in the middle of the night and away you'd go.
Saw the train but constructing that road must have been an effort.
