A chance taken early yesterday morning to visit Wayland's Smithy, just off the Ridgeway in Oxfordshire. The weather was chancy, with forecasted wind gusts perhaps exceeding the capabilities of my MINI3 Pro, butt I got there early, and managed to get a short flight in - although towards the end it got a bit dicey, the gimball being pushed sideways on a couple of times...
Wayland's Smithy is an interesting ancient site, and a favourite place of mine to visit when I am in the area with work, just down the road from Uffington Castle and White Horse...
Nice flight, despite the conditions. A remasrkably well-preserved site. We recently visited the Neolithic burial chamber at Trefignath, on Holy Island near Trearddur Bay. Nothing but a pile of stones, and far too windy for the drone. \had to make do with the Pocket2
