Something that is important .....

Unfortunately the Phantom when switched on and not flying - the camera and gimbal get very hot, there's no cooling air moving across them.

I always use a double fan that can be tilted up towards the ceiling for my Phantom when running it for updates or just messing around on the SIM.. I use it for both of my 100w Chargers and 4 batteries too, when charging them. Nothing gets overheated here.
I've been doing this with my flight kit since day one.

I have a P3Pro that I got in trade for one of my camera lenses (Canon 135L). It was a good deal. It came with CF props, extra batteries, prop guards, DJi hardshell case. I bought another battery when Amazon had them on sale for $99. Love it. It's been a revelation for me for photos and filming.

You don't have an option for multiple ownership; one P3P and one P3A

I actually own two not only the pro but a standard too. lol

I've had an advanced and pro. IMHO I would go with the advanced. It's the best bang for the buck in phantom series.

I think the P3 4K is the best bang for the buck in the Phantom 3 series. It doesn't have lightbridge, but it has the same 4K camera that is on the P3P, so it gets the same quality video as the P3P. I fly short range (not out of LOS), so Lightbridge wouldn't be as helpful to me. The P3 4K is around the same price as the P3A. I got mine for just over $600. Absolutely love it.

Phantom 3 advanced here, Out of the box she has flown flawlessly, I think a lot to do with where I bought it. A small Canadian dealer, sat with me for 2 hours going over -flight modes, upgrades, beginner mode, printed a copy of manual off for me. Bird has been just amazing, mind you, I haven't upgraded for 4 months, why should I when she fly's & responds perfectly.
I;m also a flyer who only calibrates if I move my flight location more than about 100 miles,
Nice post, normally people only post when they have issues, not when your Phantom  is working perfectly!

Question on all Phantom experts here ... Is the P4 Pro worth the additional money in comparison to P4?
I am flying Syma X8 right now and want to switcth to DJI Phantom. Budget is tight, but I could make it happen if the P4 pro is really worth the money.

P3S is my first drone so cannot say.

I have a P3P and P3S...

I have the Phantom 3 Standard, for about 5 days.

P3 Pro and one P3S

P3A that has worked perfectly.  Have had one crash, but fortunately into a pine tree with no damage.  It was user error - not triple checking altitudes in a complex litchi mission. Have flow hundreds of flights over the year i have owned it.  

P3A here, flies so well, never had one issue, mind you, i;m on firmware i downloaded 3 months ago, last calibration at sametime, always fliy same 5 sites, all within 100 miles of each other.

I have 2 Phantom 3 Pro.

My first one is about a little over a year old, the 2nd one I picked up new from Best Buy for around $599.00 new. I also have 5 batteries.  Inc by State Farm $78.00 per year.

As for me, I bought a Standard almost a year ago, and have thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm sending it in for repair but am looking forward to many more flights.  
Yes, I did sometimes suffer "range envy" vis a vis the Adv/Pro and envied words like "light bridge" as well folks able to use their tablets to fly and see.  But the standard has been a wonderful hobby.

BUT these are unusual times.  For example, on DJI's site, there is a reconditioned Advanced for $639.  I live on a tight budget, but I wonder what the feelings were on such a deal.  As they say, Deal or No Deal?

I have a standard and have had nothing but fun with it!

Im hopng to get a P3P today with the discounted revurbished one as i cant wait no longer and want a drone!

Ive had all three . The advance has the most hrs on it. It gets all the risky missions Super reliable , never misses a beat.  One of the best if not the best phantom models ever made.

I decided to try my P3S in Sports Mode. Someone forgot to tell me how fast they would fly like this.

I just bought a P3 Advanced, but I am wondering why it is now not shown (P3 Advanced) on DJI's website anymore...any insight on this?
