Hello together,

here comes our video about the new C1 classification of the DJI Mavic 3 Classic and what exactly that means for flying with that drone within the EU member-states like Germany or Austria,..

As always, the video is only available in German - sorry..

The new drone classes in combination with the new EU Drone law (EU Drohnenverordnung) makes it more easy to understand the regulations in each class.
DJI Mavic 3 Classic and DJI Mavic 3 are the first drones worldwide who achieved a valid drone class certification.

So now, although this drone has a weight from nearly 900 gramm, you can fly it in the best OPEN drone category (OPEN A1) by only needing the 'small' drone license of the EU (A1 / A3 drone licese).

All these details and much more: here in our Video:

Feel free to comment and LIKE our video as well as to subscribe to our channel ;o)

Enjoy the video:

what if you bought the Mavic 3 Classic in North America and brought it to EU?  Can you still fly as C1 drone?

I told you to ask your CAA. Your case is so atypical that internet answers are worthless. Don't waste your time, go to the source and tell us what the official answer is. It will be more constructive.

For those who haven't followed the story from the beginning:
Our friend barker_homeme.com bought an M3 Classic in the United States (NA for North American version), on the box there is the C1 logo but not the CE. And on the drone there is neither.
