Hi, Hello1130. Thank you for reaching out. Flying in the snow actually depends on the weather condition and temperature. Please check below some of the safe flight environmental requirements and operational temperature of the Mini 2 and the remote controller:

Safe flight environmental requirements
• Severe weather conditions, like wind speed exceeding 10m/s, snow, rain, and smog may affect the aircraft's performance. To fly safely, please do not fly in such circumstances.

• The performances of the aircraft and battery are subjected to environmental factors, such as air density and temperature. Please be cautious when flying 14700 feet (4500 meters) or more above sea level as the performances of the battery and aircraft may be reduced.

Operating Temperature
• Aircraft
0° to 40°C (32° to 104°F)

• Remote Controller & Video Transmission
-10° to 40° C (14° to 104° F)

Operating Environment
• Downward Sensing System
Non-reflective, discernable surfaces
Diffuse reflectivity (> 20%,such as cement pavement)
Adequate lighting (lux > 15, Normal exposure environment of indoor fluorescent lamp)

We hope that the information above helps. Have a safe flight!

Mild snow should be fine,  make sure you keep your batteries warm though.

Its always a bit hairy strapping the IR camera to the Mavic 2 Pro,  one time I managed to cover the bottom sensor and it did not want to reduce its altitude to land.

Set up like that you must hand launch and recover it.  I do like the configuration.

Definitely a good handle.  Did you 3D print that mount?

Yes,  thats 3d printed,  a very simple design but I have to be careful not to cover the downward sensors.

No doubt covering the downward sensors would be a non-starter.  It's amazing what you can do with a 3D printer.
